Common Origin

'Origine Comune' (Common Origin) is a valuable project, which has now become the publication of the De.Co. (Communal Denominations) directory, for which I thank Anci Lazio, and which testifies to its relevance right from the interplay of the two words - origin and common -. They immediately bring to mind the thought of a common point of origin, in the value of respecting and protecting local production, but whose products are distinct, original and originated in the territories of the various municipalities, which are so well represented in these pages. A journey along which we have the opportunity to meet not only the products, but also the hands and stories of those who produce them, of when and where it is possible to taste, appreciate and consume them, and of the value they have for local communities and their representatives. To protect the quality of our agrifood products and safeguard the memory of the roots of our wonderful land, Lazio, and its precious kaleidoscope of products.
